Addition of Fractions – Story and Puzzles

➕ Adding Fractions – A Pizza Party Tale ๐Ÿ•

It was Ritu’s birthday, and she had a big delicious pizza cut into 8 slices. She ate 3 slices in the morning and 2 more in the evening. Her brother said, “That means you ate 3/8 + 2/8 of the pizza!”

Ritu blinked. “Wait, how do we add that?” Her brother smiled, “If the pieces are equal, just add the numbers on top!”

Soon, they started adding more things — half a bottle of juice + another half, quarter chappati + three-quarter chappati — and realised that **fractions are just parts we add smartly!**
